Purpose of Joint Use
  1. For the conclusion, modification, or cancellation of wheeling supply contracts or power adjustment supply contracts (hereinafter referred to as 'wheeling supply etc. contracts')
  2. For the intermediation of the termination of retail supply contracts (including isolated island supply and final guarantee supply contracts) or electricity reception contracts (hereinafter referred to as 'retail supply etc. contracts')
  3. For verifying information related to supply (reception) points
  4. For the purpose of meter reading of electricity, maintenance, inspection, replacement of equipment, investigation of facilities during power outages, disasters, etc., and other business execution by general transmission and distribution service providers based on wheeling supply etc. contracts
  5. For the execution of business related to negawatt transactions
Items of Information for Joint Use
  1. Basic information: Name, address, telephone number, and contract number of the retail supply etc. contract
  2. Information related to the supply (receiving) point: Supply area of the general transmission and distribution service provider that concludes the wheeling supply etc. contract, isolated island supply terms applicability, specific number for supply (receiving) point, information about wheeling contract height, current limit value, connected transmission service menu, power factor, supply method, wheeling contract decision method, meter information, number of the service drop pole, presence of system interconnection facilities, date of change in wheeling contract, meter reading day, contract status, method of termination measures
  3. Information related to negawatt transactions: Generation sales volume, demand procurement volume, demand suppression volume, baseline
Person Responsible for the Management of Joint Use
  1. Basic Information: The retail electricity provider with whom the retail supply etc. contract is concluded (However, for basic information related to consumers receiving isolated island supply or final guarantee supply, the general transmission and distribution service provider)
  2. Information related to the supply (receiving) point: The general transmission and distribution service provider that supplies the area of the supply (receiving) point
  3. Information related to negawatt transactions: Demand response contract participants
  1. Our company limits the joint use of customers' personal information to only those entities necessary for the purpose of joint use, and does not necessarily share personal information with all retail electricity providers, general transmission and distribution service providers, and demand response contract participants.
  2. A retail electricity provider refers to a business entity that, not falling under the grounds for registration refusal as stipulated in Article 2-5, Paragraph 1 of the Electricity Business Act (Law No. 170 of 1964), has been registered as a retail electricity provider by the Minister of Economy, Trade, and Industry. This includes those businesses deemed registered as retail electricity providers according to the supplementary provisions of the Law Partially Amending the Electricity Business Act, etc. (Law No. 72 of 2014). General transmission and distribution service providers refer to Hokkaido Electric Power Network Inc., Tohoku Electric Power Network Inc., Tokyo Electric Power Power Grid Inc., Chubu Electric Power Grid Inc., Hokuriku Electric Power Transmission and Distribution Inc., Kansai Electric Power Transmission and Distribution Inc., Chugoku Electric Power Network Inc., Shikoku Electric Power Transmission and Distribution Inc., Kyushu Electric Power Transmission and Distribution Inc., and Okinawa Electric Power Company, Inc.
  4. Demand response contract participants refer to businesses that have concluded a demand response amount adjustment supply contract with members who are general transmission and distribution service providers. This includes businesses that have acquired a business code prior to concluding the contract.   5. 'Intermediation of the termination of retail supply etc. contracts' refers to the act where a business entity, upon receiving a new application for a retail supply etc. contract from a customer, acts on behalf of the customer to apply for the cancellation of the retail supply etc. contract with the existing provider.
